the life you gave,
and the life you're giving,
that difference is Jesus.
you had Him,
stop pushing Him away,
do you not reciprocate His yearning?
lost you were,
hold on fast lest you slip back into the abyss,
learn both hard and easy,
but learn at the end of the day.
